The Brew

THE BREW boasts some of the best North American-style burgers and wings in all of the P.R.C. We serve 15 types of burgers and authentic Buffalo-style wings!

How it started
The Brew was originally founded by two Canadian boys, Aaron Chu and Sean Maj, who had lost their way in China more than 10 years ago and somehow ended up in Guangzhou. Their original neighbourhood bar was called Strange Brew in honour of the Canadian film of the same name. It didn't take long for the bar's best customer to join the fray: Canadian Rob Turnbull was drafted in the first round, ushering in The Brew era of bars.


Self Taps
At the Zhujiang location, The Brew is proud to have introduced one of Asia’s first self-tap beer systems right here in Guangzhou. Bringing the power to pour straight to the people. Customers have a proper draught system at their table—and everyone’s drinking progress can be tracked on innovative TV Beer-o-meters! Perhaps the coolest part of the technology is that you can store credit on a card and swipe in to pour!
